Child & Adolescent Therapy

.

At Shoreline Therapy, child and adolescent therapy begins with the family. We start with an initial parent session, then move into three to four sessions with the child or teen. From there, the clinician conducts a thorough diagnostic assessment, which is reviewed with the parents to create a personalized treatment plan together.

Here at Shoreline Therapy, we believe meaningful progress grows from a strong partnership between the therapist and the family. Throughout care, our clinicians collaborate with our wider clinical team, bringing in diverse expertise to ensure each client receives the most effective support. We serve children, adolescents, and young adults ages 4 to 21, with services offered in person, via telehealth, or through a blended model.

For those needing a higher level of care, our CONNECTIONS program provides enhanced support with therapy and coaching integrated throughout the week. This model allows children and teens to remain in their home and community while receiving structured, comprehensive care—avoiding the need for residential placement.

Child and adolescent therapy remains a cornerstone of our work and commitment to families
